逗子アートフィルムは、逗子アートフェスティバルから生まれた活動です。ここでは、様々な映像表現のレクチャー、上映、ワークショップなどの活動を行っていきます。アートフィルムという言葉は、本来無い造語です。ここでは、現代美術、実験映画、ドキュメンタリー、ビデオアート、 メディアアート、ネットアートなど、様々な芸術分野における、映像表現を指しています。普段、私たちの日常の生活で触れられる映像表現は、テレビや映画館、YoutubeやNetflixで観られるものが中心ですが、ここではそうした場所では観ることのできない映像表現を中心に扱っていきます。世界の見方を変え、今までの価値観を揺さぶるような映像表現に出会い、話し合っていくことのできる場を作っていきます。

About Zushi Art Films
Zushi Art Films is an activity born out of the Zushi Art Festival. The Zushi Art Films program includes lectures, screenings, and workshops on various forms of visual arts. The term “art film” was originally coined to refer to a variety of visual arts in various artistic fields, such as contemporary art, experimental film, documentary, video art, media art, and net art. The visual arts that we are usually exposed to in our daily lives are mainly those that can be seen on TV, in cinema, on Youtube, or on Netflix, but here we will focus on visual arts that cannot be seen in such places. We will create a place where people can encounter and discuss visual arts that will change the way we see the world and shake our conventional values.
